Eminent Pakistani scholar Allama Sheikh Mohsin Ali Najafi passes away

The demise of this revered figure has triggered an outpouring of tributes from followers and leaders alike.
Allama Najafi, the founder of the esteemed Jamia Al-Kawthar Islamic Seminary, was widely respected among Shia followers for his extensive contributions to religious scholarship.
His final resting place will be at Jamia-ul-Kausar, and the funeral ceremony is scheduled to take place following Zuhr prayers on Wednesday.
Allama Mohsin Najafi's life journey
Hailing from the Gilgit Baltistan region, Allama Mohsin Najafi began his educational journey at a seminary school, laying the foundation for his illustrious career.
In the 1960s, he embarked on a journey to Iraq to pursue religious studies under the tutelage of eminent scholars such as Ayatollahs Khoei and Baqir al-Sadr. After a decade of rigorous study, he returned to his homeland and dedicated himself to teaching.
Known for his mastery in Quran interpretation, Islamic philosophy, and ethics, Allama Najafi authored several impactful books, including the renowned "Al Kauthar fi Tafsir Al Quran."
His profound knowledge and teachings earned him the position of president of the Supreme Council of the Ahl-ul-Bayt Assembly.
